A common question that parents always have is what gear is provided and what gear do I need to buy or borrow to ensure a great little league season. Some answers to this question are provided below.

Apparel

Apparel Provided by SVLL

• Team hat
• Team jersey
• Belt

Optional Apparel

Coaches will send out links for optional matching team apparel including:

• Socks / stirrups
• Undershirts
• Windbreakers / jackets

Equipment

Required Equipment

• Cleats
• Glove
• Baseball pants (coaches may have preference on team color)
• Athletic support with cup  (Recommended for all levels)
• Water bottle
  

Optional Equipment

• Helmets (team helmets will be provided, but strongly encouraging parents to supply their own helmet if possible due to COVID-19)
• Bats (team bats will also be provided) Baseball bats conform to the USA baseball standard created in 2018.  Encouraging parents to supply their own bats if possible due to COVID-19.  If unable to provide your own bat we will be sanitizing shared bats between batters.
• Batting gloves
• Equipment bag (backpack or duffel)
• Catcher's gear (team gear will also be provided).  Encouraging catchers to provide their own catcher's gear due to COVID-19.  We will be limiting the number of catchers in a game and sanitizing any shared gear when changing catchers.
• Baseball/softball sliders or compression shorts
• Sunglasses
• Softball face guards
