13 Things You Need to Know

13 things you need to know about SVLL

1.       Our mission: Our mission is to nurture our players’ skills and understanding of baseball and softball; to instill effort, honesty, teamwork, and good sportsmanship; and to enrich our community with a fun, family-oriented environment.  We are the Snoqualmie Valley Little League.

2.       We are 100% volunteer run organization. Everyone you interact with -- your coaches, your board members, your score keepers, the concessions workers -- are here working toward the common goal of providing a great experience for our children. To continue doing so, we need your support.

3.       How the pie is split: Visit our financial transparency page to see where your money goes. There is a direct correlation to the money raised in fundraisers, sponsorship and donations balanced by the cost of player registration. If your employer provides volunteer donation matching, please submit your time.

4.       Our culture. We are proud to partner with the Positive Coaching Alliance to help shape a constructive development environment for our players. We aim to provide an exceptional experience for our players, families and our community.

5.       Get social! Friend us on Facebook; follow us on Instagram. #SnoValleyLL

6.       All stars Does your child LOVE to play? Are you looking for a more competitive environment to stretch his/her development? You may have an All Star on your hands. Check out our all stars program for more information on the commitment required.

7.       We give back. Do know a high school senior at MSHS? Do they need money for college? SVLL grants a $500 scholarship award to one girl and one boy each year. Encourage him or her to apply through their MSHS guidance counselor. Candidates must have played baseball or softball in the SVLL and must submit a 200-word essay sharing their experience in Little League as well as ways they have demonstrated leadership by contributing to their community.  Applicants may be asked to introduce themselves to the SVLL Board of Directors at a meeting in the North Bend Depot. Applications will be received by the MSHS Counseling Center after February 26th.

8.       We need Buddies! The Challenger program is an adaptive baseball program for boys and girls with physical and developmental  disabilities. To make this successful, we rely on volunteers from ages 10 and up to be Buddies for our players. Please consider helping out and making a difference in someone's life!

9.       You've made it through assessments, what's next? Want to see how the sausage is made? Check out our draft policies to see how teams are formed and how we ensure a balanced, competitive environment.

10.     Our Sponsors  Their donations lower our fees.  Please patronize them, and thank them for their support of SVLL.

11.     Don’t miss out! Important dates! Mark your calendars.

12.     Go, girl! We are growing our softball program. Bring out your girls and see how team sports can help them grow into confident leaders on and off the field!

13.     Baseball does not end at 12. Little League provides excellent programs for kids above the majors level at ages 13 and 14. It’s not too late to sign up your teens! Please keep playing, and bring your friends. Get more info Big Fields program by emailing [email protected]
